Friday 16th February marked 1 year since Milly passed away.
I can't begin to describe the mix of emotions we felt in the build up to this milestone. Our daughter should be turning 8 this year, I wonder how tall she'd be, how much longer her beautiful hair would be, what she'd have learnt over the past year and so much more.
Instead we are here, 365 days later. A whole year without the glue in our family. The sparkle that gave our lives magic.
Still no answers why. Reliving the trauma day in and day out.
But what we can say is we felt truly supported.
So many of you had Milly-Rose's favourite tea on her anniversary, we were amazed! It gave us a little bit of light, on a very dark day.
There were so many lovely photos sent to us, we want to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part. I'm sure Milly would have been smiling!
Mummy and Daddy took a drive out on Friday, and saw a beautiful big rainbow 🌈 that we know Milly sent us!
The weekend was rounded off by the Hale 10k on Sunday, where Mummy, Rebecca, Jai, Mrs Barry and Helena ran in memory of Milly.
Milly shares her anniversary date with her angel friend, Blake James Mitchell, who's birthday is the 16th February.
